Silverstone Motorcycles Supports Brackley Festival Of Motorcycling

Following the 2009 Brackley Motorycycle Festival where Brackey resonated to the sound of over 12,000 people, including 5000 motorcycles enjoying the spectacle. The event was held for the second time today.

The town centre was closed off for the day and the local school also opened up their playing fields for the festival.

The  event will again raise money for the Warwickshire and Northamptonshire Air Ambulance and in addition the Autism Concern charity will receive donations.

Towcester's SIlverstone Motorcycles supported the event. Nikki Lockyer told AboutMyArea/NN12 "Its been very busy, its great to be here, and the weather is similing on us with blue skies.

"We brought most things our Victory Motorcycles are stirring a lot of interest and the Kawaski bikes doing stunts aren't doing any harm to the interest in our Kawasaki dealership that we opened only a few weeks ago in Towcester.'

Towcester's new Kawasaki dealership opened this evening (Thursday 29th July 2010) on the eve of the World Supebikes at Silverstone with British World Superbike star Tom Sykes taking time out from his preparations for the only British round of the tournanment that is running at Silverstone this weeked.

Niikki Lockyer who designed the new showroom that had to be put together in record time for Tom to do the honours said, "Its a double celebration marking not only the finishing of the major refurbishment of the facilities but, the high profile evening also marked the unveiling of Silverstone Motorcycles on Watling Street, Towcester as the latest Kawasaki dealer in Northants and the UK.

"We are open for business, we have a stock of the latest Kawasaki machines that complement our Victory and Harley Davidson offerings, tonight has been green and black - the Kawasaki colours and I am absolutely thrilled at the turnout, we have seen some old friends but there are plenty of new faces too!

"Not only are we open for new motorbike sales, but our service centre and workshops are open for business as well"
